Will it fit
ME?
Fit
is the most important factor when purchasing clothing, yet due to
variances from manufacturer to manufacturer it has become increasingly
difficult to know what size will fit you.
Many items have varying degrees of stretch and some are
designed to fit snug. Keep in mind that a dress
could stretch up to 6” in the bust.
*
A note on the rise of pants… check the length of the zipper. This rise
measurement will tell you how far below the waist the pants are
intended to sit and from there you can take the “waist” measurement for
an accurate fit.
How to
Measure for the best fit.
Bust:
Wrap a tape measure under your arms and around the largest
part of your bust.
Waist:
Wrap a tape measure around the smallest part of your waist.
Allow the tape measure to sit comfortably.
Hips:
Stand with your feet a few inches apart. Wrap a tape measure
around the fullest part of your hips.
Inseam:
Take a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Run a tape
measure from the inside crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
NOTE:
For the best results take measurements over your undergarments. Hold
the tape measure firmly, but do not pull tightly over the body.
